Lucy qualified as a solicitor in 2005 having completed her training in Leeds and York specialising in family law. Lucy moved to Cumbria with her husband and first child in 2006 where she continued to practice as a solicitor representing clients going through family difficulties. In 2012 Lucy began working for the Local Authority representing Children’s Services in court proceedings and has gained significant experience working in both the private and public sector.
Lucy’s motivation for becoming a solicitor was a genuine need to help the most vulnerable in our society and to ensure access for justice for all.
Lucy joined odonnells in November 2015 to work alongside Philippa Curran and Ruth Muncaster in the Court of Protection department where she can continue to represent clients who need legal help in dealing with their challenges and be their advocate.
Lucy remains living in Cumbria with her husband and three children and currently works part-time.
