We are delighted to announce that Ruth Muncaster has completed all stages of her legal training and was admitted as a solicitor of the Supreme Court on 2 February.
Having graduated in 2001 with a 2:1 BA(hons) History from Lancaster University, Ruth completed her post graduate diploma in law followed by the Legal Practice Certificate at BPP Law School Manchester. After several years with the legal department of Cumbria County Council she turned to private practise with odonnells to complete her vocational training.
In 2014 Ruth was admitted to the Law Society specialist mental health panel to represent detained patients before the Mental Health Tribunal and now specialises in mental capacity work in the Court of Protection.
We are also pleased to have successfully passed the first annual renewal assessment for our Lexcel accreditation, the specialist mark for service and business management covering the legal sector. The assessor noted our excellent staff training and supervision, something which we are proud to acknowledge. So, well done odonnells staff: as our clients repeatedly tell us, you’re the tops.
