To deal with the increasing demand for advice in mental health law, we have appointed two new law graduates. While both are undergoing intensive post graduate academic and practical training for admission to the Law Society accreditation scheme for mental health lawyers, Rhianna will concentrate on mental capacity law while Zeshan will be based in our mental health tribunal section.
Rhianna Bateson graduated from UCLAN with 1st class honours in law in 2012. During her second year she was awarded the prize for outstanding examination performance. She received a commendation in her post graduate LPC, also at UCLAN.
A keen swimmer, who competed at national level, she is now seeking qualifications to teach the younger generation to love the sport as much as she does.

Zeshan Amin graduated in law from UCLAN in 2013 and has a long standing commitment to mental health services. For many years he was a support worker in residential and rehabilitation settings as well as experiencing project work supporting youth offenders and children from the care system. Zeshan is continuing his national vocational qualification in health and social care in order to bring a wider perspective of mental health issues for the benefit of our clients.
