Vicky began her legal career as a trainee solicitor with O’Donnells in 1998 having obtained a 2:1 honours degree from Leeds Metropolitan University and a Commendation in her Legal Practice Course.

Qualifying in 2000, Vicky worked in the family department assisting clients who had separated from their partners and advising in respect of the related issues. Vicky dealt with a varied caseload but specialised in children matters.

In October 2008, having worked for the firm for over 10 years, Vicky made the difficult decision to leave for family reasons and to concentrate on raising her young daughter. During her career break, Vicky worked in a local primary school and for NHS Pensions but never lost her passion for the law.

Now that her daughter is older and going to University, Vicky has returned to her role as solicitor with the firm but will now be working in the Court of Protection department, assisting people deprived of their liberty and safeguarding their interests.

Outside of work, Vicky enjoys reading, walking and spending time with her family and friends. She also enjoys spending time with her cockapoo puppy Bailey who is very mischievous but very loving.
